Alaska: The Last Frontier

For years, Alaska was a distant dream—a destination that felt as far away as it was expensive. But after experiencing the wild heart of Yellowstone, my determination to see "The Last Frontier" reached a breaking point. As luck would have it, my brother moved to the state in 2025, providing the perfect catalyst for my first expedition into the sub-arctic wilderness.

Nothing truly prepares you for the scale of the Alaskan interior. I arrived to find a landscape in transition, with the fall tundra ablaze in crimson and gold. Here, the Bull Moose reach legendary proportions, dwarfing even the giants I had encountered in the Tetons. From the shadow of Denali, North America’s highest peak, to the surreal, dancing curtains of my first Aurora Borealis, Alaska proved to be everything I had imagined and more.

Exploring Alaska is a marathon, not a sprint. This collection is just the beginning of a lifelong project to document the raw power of the North. Whether it’s the coastal resilience of the Kenai Peninsula or the vast, open reaches of the Alaska Range, these images capture a world that remains defiantly wild.
